Nokia 808 PureView-The Revolutionary Camera Phone Powered by 41 MP Camera Announced

In the ongoing Mobile World Congress 2012 at Barcelona, Spain; Nokia announced new revolutionary Smartphone Nokia 808 PureView. The Nokia 808 PureView is powered by 1.3 GHz single core processor, 4-inch ClearBlack AMOLED display protected by Gorilla Glass, 512 MB RAM, 16 GB internal memory expandable up to 32GB with microSD and runs on Symbian Belle OS.




The main attraction in Nokia 808 PureView is: it is powered by 41 MP camera with the support from Carl Zeiss optics which is supposed to be the most advanced camera based Smartphone available in the market till date.
Nokia 808’s 41 MP camera is based on PureView technology that uses new pixel oversampling technology. Apart from still images the camera is also capable to record video at fullHD version i.e. 1080p at 30fps with 4X lossless zoom and it’s all because of the powerful sensor and image processor which is capable to handle over more than 1 billion pixels/second. Also, at lower resolution the capabilities of the zoom increases from 6X at 720p up to 12X lossless zoom in nHD (640×360) resolution.





















Nokia 808 PureView features a Dolby Digital Plus support for 5.1 channels surround sound playback, is loaded with BV-4D 1400 mAh Li-on battery. The device weight 169g including battery, gives 6.5 hrs of talktime on 3G network and up to 540 hrs on standby.
Nokia 808 is available in White, Blue and Black colors and is expected to cost 450 Euro and will be available in the market from May onwards.
