Apple is planning to relaunch the iPhone 3GS into India @ just Rs. 19,990 to give a heavy competition to the Android Smartphones. It has already introduced the iPhone 4G in the Indian market, after successfully unveiling it to Aircel and Airtel operators.
According to TOI, the phone retailers across Mumbai and Delhi are already reporting the availability of stocks of the Factory Unlocked iPhone 3GS. This forms the best the Indian phones market could ever get officially. The other older models were way too expensive.
While the device is now exactly two years old -- the iPhone 3GS was first unveiled in June 2009 -- it still has something to offer for price sensitive buyers. Although the iPhone 3GS has a 600MHz processor and a 3.5-inch multitouch screen, it supports Apple's latest iOS 4.3, and Apple has pledged support for its upcoming iOS 5 for the device.
